APPOINTMENTS

Please phone (03) 9509 4847 for an appointment or leave a message and we will confirm your request.  If longer consultations are required, please advise reception when making your appointment as this may affect billing and time.  Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time. Emergencies will always be given priority and our reception staff will endeavour to contact you by phone if there is any unforeseen delay. If you or a family member require an interpreter service we can also arrange this for you. Please let us know when you make an appointment.

TELEPHONE ACCESS

Doctors may be contacted during normal surgery hours. If your doctor is with a patient, a message will be taken and the reception staff will advise you when it is likely that your doctor will return your call. Your call will always be put through to a doctor in an emergency.

FEES & BILLING ARRANGEMENTS

We are a private billing practice however a concession may be offered to the following patients at the discretion of the Doctor i.e. Pensioners, unemployed and people receiving Government Centrelink or pensioner payments.  To support your request please bring in cards or relevant paperwork.  The Australian medical Association (AMA) forms the basis of our fee structure and is displayed on our reception desk at the practice.

All fees are payable on the day of your appointment by cash, eftpos, mastercard or visa.

GETTING YOUR RESULTS

Your Doctor will advise when results of any tests are expected and this usually is within 48 hours.  The Doctor will specifically advise you to return for results or you will be contacted by the staff to advise whether further consultation is necessary. If you have not heard from us within 48 hours of tests please feel free to contact us and results will be sought if already not available.

RECALL SYSTEM

Our practice is committed to preventative care. Your Doctor will seek your permission to be included on our recall system.  We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventative health services appropriate to your health care.  If you do not wish to be part of this system please let us know.
